What does a heart after God look like?
A heart grows faith through trusting
A heart grows with others
1 Sam. 18:6-7 When the men were returning home after David had killed the Philistine, the women came out from all the towns of Israel to meet King Saul with singing and dancing, with joyful songs and with timbrels and lyres. As they danced, they sang: “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands.”

Must this man come into my house?”

David only has God. But that is enough.
God listens to wretched people who depend on him alone
God draws near fully dependent people
Rev. 3:16-18 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
God draws near fully dependent people
God stories need to be told
Whatever you are filled with will spill out
God give me a heart that fully depends on you give me that boldness to tell the stories
