Life is hard, God is good

We can easily become habituated to God’s goodness

God’s goodness is generous

God created wonders so we would Wonder

God sends waves to mercy to all who turn to him

I am a child of the King

Eph. 1:5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

God only has children of faith

John 1:12Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

1 John 3:1 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”

I am a child of the King

Being a child of the king is an invitation to know God

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Romans 8:31 if God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ

Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

Two-way communication

Romans 8:15-17 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.  Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory.
